Gold Buckle Futurities is excited to announce the
addition of a Youth Roping division to its prestigious lineup of events.
Stephenville, TX — 08/15/2024 – Starting at the 2024 Gold Buckle Futurities Fall Roping presented by Rocking P Ranch, riders aged 12 and under will have the opportunity to compete in a highly anticipated event designed to showcase the future elite of roping.
“When we say THE FUTURE ELITE, we mean it,” said Shane Hanchey, Founder of Gold Buckle Futurities. “At Gold Buckle Futurities, we believe in nurturing the next generation of riders and giving them the platform they deserve to shine. Our youth roping event is a testament to that commitment.”
The Youth Roping competition will be brought to you by Fast Back Ropes and will allow young riders to compete in breakaway roping on horses of any age, with each rider permitted to enter up to two horses. This event will be capped at 40 entries, ensuring an exclusive and competitive environment where the next generation of roping talent can truly stand out.
Gold Buckle Futurities has been dedicated to fostering excellence in the sport, and this new youth division is a natural extension of that mission. By creating opportunities for young riders to compete on a prestigious stage, the organization continues to solidify its role as a leader in the rope horse arena.
Entries for the Youth Roping division will be accepted starting on October 1, 2024 and interested participants are encouraged to register early due to the limited number of spots available.
