Gold Buckle Futurities launched in 2023 with our inaugural event, establishing a bi-annual platform for horses and trainers to compete for significant purses with multiple opportunities. Our event formats feature a four-year-old futurity and a six-year-old and under maturity, creating a diverse range of aged events that open doors for elite rope horses and stallion owners. All horses compete in the GBF open roping, with the added opportunity to be nominated for the exclusive Elite Stallions Incentive or Elite Breeders Incentives Sidepots – additional prize funds that let foals of eligible stallions vie for an even larger purse!
