COMMITMENT
Gold Buckle Futurities will roll out in 2023 with our first event. With plans to establish a bi-annual event, GBF is committed to offering two platforms for horses and trainers alike to compete for large purses with multiple chances. GBF event formats will consist of a four-year-old futurity, and a five-to-six year-old maturity, offering a wide selection of aged events – ultimately, offering more avenues and opportunities for elite rope horses and stallion owners. All horses will compete in the GBF open roping with the opportunity to be nominated for the exclusive Gold Buckle Stallion Incentive Jackpot – additional monies that allow eligible stallion foals to compete for an even bigger purse!

GBF will implement and use a judged and timed-event format to determine the winners, to create a level playing field measuring each individual horse. Our goal is to create a platform as a whole that provides equal opportunity for the trainers, competitors, and horses that compete at the GBF events.
We look forward to your participation as stallion owners, sponsors, trainers, owners, and spectators. The rope horse industry is alive and well and we are excited to journey into the success of those that work diligently to see that it remains that way.
